2nd-5th Grades - Rising Stars Classes
Non-Audition
Rising Stars Musical Theater program will teach acting, singing, and choreography to elementary grade children culminating in a showcase for family and friends. No experience required. Spotlight Rep will bring out their confidence and introduce them to the wonderful world of the performing arts.
6th-9th Grades - Shining Stars Classes
Non-Audition
Shining Stars Musical Theater program will teach acting, singing, and choreography to middle/high school students. Students will develop strong teamwork skills and confidence in a safe and encouraging environment.

Dates/Times: September 30 – December 2
- Shining Stars – Grades 6-9: Mondays 3:30-5:00pm
- Rising Stars – Grades 2-5: Mondays 5:15-6:45pm
Performances: November 25, December 6-7
- Class Showcase – November 25th at 6:15pm
- Haul Out the Holly: Songs of the Season performances– December 6th & 7th in the evening. Performing 2-3 songs for Spotlight community concert!

Meet Our Performing Arts Directors
Marika Galvin
Performing Arts Director
Marika Galvin has been performing with Spotlight Repertory NW since its celebrated debut in 2018 with A Night On Broadway, followed by the renowned Hooray for Hollywood in 2019, performing with Spotlight's Encore Women's Show Choir. More recently, she made her directorial debut in Spotlight’s A Very Broadway Holiday, co-directing the Rising Stars and Shining Stars programs, as well as performing on stage with the Spotlight Concert Choir and with the Rising Stars. Before Spotlight, Marika performed in several musical theater productions and choirs. Currently, she holds the title of Co-Artistic Director and performs with the Spotlight Concert Choir.
Frances Garcia Hoffman

Frances Garcia Hoffman, an award-winning singer and performer with more than 25 years of stage experience, focusses her passion for sharing music and the performing arts to the Eastside. She holds a master's degree of Vocal Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music of the Johns Hopkins University, and she is currently an instructor of voice and acting in Sammamish, WA. She is the director, producer, and performer of various Spotlight musical programs and the recipient of the Drama Logue Critics Award, Finalist in Metropolitan Opera Regional Competition, and received the Sammamish Sammi Award for Outstanding Artistic Support of the City for creating and running a successful annual local Teen Talent Show for several years.
Frances has performed in professional roles and as a soloist in Opera, Musical Theater, and Oratorios with several companies large and small across the country such as Santa Fe Opera, LA Opera, Sundance Theater, and Orlando Opera. Her greatest passion is sharing the joy of theater and music in its various forms and is honored to be working alongside such gifted and talented members of the community.
